We love watching golf, and right now we can’t get enough of these three pros, all of whom have different play styles and a rapidly growing set of accomplishments.
Bryson DeChambeau
Bryson DeChambeau is a very interesting guy. Not only is he incredibly dedicated to golf, he is dedicated to the concept of dedication. In one interview, DeChambeau said “If I wanted to learn Arabic or Russian, I could. Or tie my shoes in a new way, I could. Why? Dedication. I’m not really smart, but I’m dedicated. I can be good at anything if I love it and dedicate myself. And I love history. I love science. I love music. I love golf. I love learning. I love life. I love trying to be the best at anything and everything.”
This commitment to dedication is clear in DeChambeau’s game, particularly in his goal to become the ultimate long ball hitter. So far this season (which started in September, so there hasn’t been a ton of play yet) the average distance of his drives is a huge 344.4 yards, with an average last season of 322.1 yards. We love watching DeChambeau hit these massive distances and can’t wait to see him hit even further in 2021.
Colin Morikawa
Colin Morikawa’s playing style is, in many ways, opposite to DeChambeau’s, but we’re equally excited about him and seeing where his game takes him during the 2021 season. Where DeChambeau’s strong suit is long distance, Morikawa’s is incredible accuracy on shorter shots. We were stunned and amazed by the eagle that won him this year’s PGA championship, and we love watching Morikawa’s attention to angles, precision, and that beautiful swing every time he plays.
Dustin Johnson
We’re big fans of Dustin Johnson, and seeing him finally win the Masters this year in his home city was something else. That victory was wonderful to see, not least because Johnson has had so many setbacks in the past that have made a Masters victory impossible.
Johnson donning the green jacket was the crowning achievement of an amazing season for him, which included winning four PGA tour events and coming in second (or tied for second) in three others. We can’t wait to see what the 2021 season has in store for this powerhouse of golf.
Watching these guys has inspired us to practice more, what about you? We’ve got all the practice balls you need at unbeatable prices.
